Article no.: DANE-C15

* 15 watt guitar amplifier * Designed and developed in Denmark * Organic and warm sound * 100% pure tube tone * Built-in reverb and tremolo The Dane Classic 15 is pure tube tone in a simple, portable and boutique combo amp - ready for jobs and rehearsal sessions. The Classic 15 is based on a popular American amplifier design, which uses the classic combination of 12AX7 amplifier tubes and EL84 tubes in the power amplifier. The Dane Classic 15 is aimed at the guitarist looking for a simple and uncomplicated guitar amplifier, which at the same time delivers a 100% authentic and tube-based tone. It produces a crisp and warm sound with a characteristic organic and natural overdrive when you turn up the volume. For many guitarists, the natural overdrive of the Classic 15 combined with the built-in tremolo and reverb provides plenty of sonic options. But if you're one of those people who likes to use your own favorite pedals together with a good tube amp, the Classic 15 is the obvious choice for you too. The Classic 15 is created with a high focus on being good at receiving pedals. This means that you get an even more exquisite and warm overdrive if you load the tubes of the Classic 15 a little more via some kind of booster pedal. As a starting point, the Classic 15 is the obvious choice for rock and blues or other music, where a light to medium overdrive is appropriate. However, due to the design of the amp, it is also prominent in delivering a solid overdrive with the help of a pedal. It provides 15 watts with a single channel design based on 2 12AX7 tubes and 2 EL84 as well as a 10" Celestion speaker. The control section is designed with both volume and tone controls as well as speed and intensity, which control the Classic 15's built-in tremolo effect. In addition, there is reverb control with which you can control how much space you want on your guitar signal. Dane is a Danish brand with roots dating back to the 1960s, where Dane was involved in several major events in connection with providing the sound. Among other things, Dane and the then sister brand MAX were involved in the planning and delivery of sound for the first version of Roskilde Festival. The idea for Dane arose in the early 1960s, when the Danish importer of VOX was asked to supply amplifiers for The Beatles' first foreign concerts, which would take place in Hamburg. As VOX could not supply a specific PA system at the time, the importer got the idea to found a company that could supply any sound one could imagine needing to use for a concert. That is, PA systems, guitar amps, bass amps and more. Thus arose Dane. As far as we know, the Beatles never got to play on Dane amps anyway, but they were the indirect reason Dane was founded. They would otherwise have been quite happy to play over a Dane rig, as Dane became known among other things for being able to deliver rigs that had an extraordinary amount of power compared to the rigs you could or could acquire at the time.
