The IRONHEART-LOUDPEDAL has been developed in collaboration with the incredibly talented Martin Miller. Martin, a longtime Laney fan, has become one of our most prominent artists. He, like Tom Quayle, is an Ibanez signature artist, renowned teacher and music producer. Martin and Tom had a successful joint clinic tour in 2018, and have been both friends and collaborators for a long time. As one of the most successful Jam Track Central artists, Martin's teaching packages have topped sales. His Live Session videos on YouTube with the Martin Miller Session Band have taken him to new heights with nearly a million subscribers and huge viewing figures. Martin has always been a fan of the IRONHEART series, whose versatility allows him to sound great whether he's playing traditional jazz or a hard metal solo. Built in Laney's UK workshop, Black Country Customs, the IRONHEART LOUDPEDAL is carefully engineered to reproduce the famous IRONHEART tone in a compact, analog pedal amp configuration. The pedal features two channels and a robust 60-watt output power, dynamic GAIN switching, impressive reverb and a BOOST function. It was developed in close collaboration with Martin Miller, whose involvement in fine-tuning the design has been crucial. IRONHEART-LOUDPEDAL delivers exceptionally expressive and rich IRONHEART tones in a pedalboard-friendly format. It is no bigger than a double pedal! The pedal is very versatile - you can use it in front of your regular amplifier as a high-quality two-channel clean boost to full distortion pedal or use it directly with a passive cabinet on stage or in the rehearsal room. For quiet stage applications, the IRONHEART-LOUDPEDAL is equipped with LA-IR - Laney Advance Impulse Response technology, which uses 56-bit FIR filters to create high-quality cabinet emulations. You can choose between two built-in IRs and connect directly to the PA or IEM rig without losing the nuance and character of a well-miked cabinet. The pedal also has the option to charge your own favorite IRs via the USB-C connection with the free LA-IR app. With USB-C, the pedal also functions as a sound card, meaning you can connect it directly to your DAW.
