CORONA SERIES Feel the beat What happens when slow German polka meets the driving rhythms of Mexican folklore? It creates one of Central America's most exciting music genres: Tex-Mex. Driving rhythms meet catchy melodies, upright bass meets trumpet - and at the center is the accordion, which unites these cultures with its distinctive sound. A typical Tex-Mex, Vallenato or Norteño song would not be complete without the unique sound of a Hohner accordion. With six different models, the Corona series offers the right instrument in terms of sound, size, design and color. THE WILDEST CORONA Since 1968, Los Tigres del Norte have been a mainstay of Mexican-American music. Their songs, ranging from social injustice to love and betrayal, have made them Norteño icons around the world. Their music touches people from all backgrounds, including those who don't speak Spanish. A constant part of their performances: Jorge and Eduardo Hernández's HOHNER accordion. So we joined forces to create a Los Tigres del Norte signature accordion, designed according to their wishes in both appearance and sound. The result is a beautiful accordion with a great sound.
