Due to popular demand, one of the most unique acoustic guitar models Cort has launched returns, now with reworked body features for the new Masterpiece series. Inspired by the art and craftsmanship of the 19th century Art Nouveau era, the Roselyn Redux is a true masterpiece that unites both classical and modern aesthetic expressions as well as luthier techniques. It all started with a carefully crafted wooden inlay in the center of the guitar, featuring a portrait of a young woman holding a rose - and the name Roselyn was born. Unique features such as an offset sound hole on the top and sound port on the side, a beveled body for arm rests, and an elegant mother-of-pearl inlay with vines and flowers extending from the center of the inlay all contribute to Roselyn Redux's beauty and unique design. Master Grade Solid European Spruce Top With a clarity reminiscent of a bell's tone across a wide spectrum of sound, the Master Grade Solid European Spruce Top is ideal for both delicate finger picking and casual strumming. The richness of the ethereal overtones is the defining characteristic of this premium wood found on this model. "AAA" Grade Solid Pau Ferro Back and Sides Pau Ferro, also known as Morado or Bolivian Rosewood, has many of the qualities prized in woods close to Indian Rosewood. It is stable, durable, stiff and attractive, and has good tensile strength in the direction of the grain. The reddish Padauk wood binding strip gives a premium look. Special Rosette Design The center "Roselyn" inlay is meticulously detailed, and with the addition of vine and flower inlays extending into the dark ebony, makes the guitar almost look like a work of art from the 19th century. OM Cutaway Body The compact size of the OM model is perfect for players with a smaller body size or those seeking playing comfort. The bright and stronger midrange makes it more suitable for finger picking than for strumming, which often requires more bass. The Florentine cutaway on this model provides easy access to the high frets. Off-set Sound Hole and Side Sound Port Instead of a conventional sound hole in the center of the body, the guitar has an offset sound hole that is cut out in a seed-like shape that follows the contour of the body. There is also a second sound port on the side that affects the Helmholtz properties of the body and improves the dynamics and treble of the acoustic sound.
