The ALT30 has borrowed its body shape from the immensely popular (AEW) series, in a slightly more compact format, a comfortable body shape with a softly rounded cut-away that makes access to the highest bands easy. The guitar has a relatively rich tone acoustically but is primarily intended for those who most often play amplified, in the studio, out in the PA or an acoustic amplifier. Equipped with an Ibanez piezo pickup and Ibanez AEQ2UT preamp, it will deliver a nice and malleable electro-acoustic sound whatever you plug it into. A guitar that feels welcome to both an electric guitarist (same 648mm scale and 43mm neck width at the first fret), but also a traditional acoustic player, whether you play with a pick or with your fingers.
