The TE-1 from Tyma is a 6-string semi-acoustic western guitar equipped with both an electric guitar microphone and an acoustic guitar microphone, making it possible to use the TE-1 as either an acoustic or electric guitar. The body of the TE-1 is slim and equipped with a sound box made entirely of mahogany. Mahogany gives the tyma TE-1 a warm and harmonically rich sound, with a good balance between the thin and thick strings, and at the same time mahogany is a wood that is equally suitable for acoustic guitars as for electric guitars. The neck is also made of African mahogany, while the fingerboard is made of palisander (rosewood) and equipped with 21 frets. Seat and saddle are made of real bone, which ensures optimal contact between strings and guitar.
The Tyma TE-1 comes with a built-in microphone system, which consists of a built-in preamplifier and microphone, located under the saddle, and an electric guitar pickup with a coil mounted in the lid
