RGD71ALMS-BAM (Black Aurora Burst Matte) Axion Label Multi Scale 7-string.
Axion Label can best be described as a branch of the Iron Label tree, guitars built primarily for metal and hard rock. Axion Label is more looking to the future in, for example, new types of pickups, looks, etc. while Iron Label is more based on what has been used and worked for a long time.
Guitars designed for those who want to play heavy music and need tools specially designed for it.
Of course, you can play more than metal on the instruments, you can play everything on them.
The series has Sub-Zero treated frets, which simply put are specially treated and hardened rods that have properties very similar to stainless steel bands.
Another common feature of the series is that they have luminescent side dots on the top of the neck. A thing you probably don't fully understand the benefit of until you've stood on a stage in pitch darkness and can't see which band you're putting your hand on. Truly an amazing little invention.
RGD is a series of guitars designed to be the ultimate metal guitar. The slightly beveled body makes the guitar extremely comfortable to play, and the heavily beveled horns provide total access to the highest frets. Additional features include an eye maple fretboard and Gotoh locking action.
However, this model is equipped with a multi-scale neck (often called Fanned Fret), a different scale on each string, from 27" on the lowest to 25.5" on the highest string. This is to get stability if you tune down without affecting how the guitar feels to play solo on. It simply gets more stuns, focus and firmness in the low register but feels as usual to play solo.
Multi scale also has advantages for how it feels to play, the angle of the straps follows how the wrist is angled when playing low down or high up on the neck. It relieves the wrists and allows you to play longer and more without the risk of wear and tear.
RGD71ALMS is equipped with Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, a completely new way of making mics.
An active mic with two different sounds you can switch between built into the mic itself called voice 1 and voice 2.
Voice 1 - "Modern Active High Output - The ideal active ceramic humbucker tone. Crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl".
Voice 2 - "Modern Passive Attack - Organic, high output, passive ceramic tone. Superb distortion characteristics with Fluence dynamics and response".
