AF55 is a simpler jazz can that speaks as clearly rock as jazz, or why not blues or rockabilly, visually. A well-built model where, among other things, simpler mics, simpler inlays and simpler bindings are used than the more expensive models have. It has a mahogany Artcore neck with bound Laurel fingerboard and White dot inlays. The body is built of laminated sapele top, sides and bottom, a durable construction with very good sound characteristics.
