AM93ME-NT (Natural High Gloss) Artcore Expressionist. Artcore is a series of extremely affordable full-hollow and semi-hollow instruments where the quality is astonishingly good. These guitars are as good as a gateway to the world of jazz cans as they are to be the main instrument or backup to the toy guitar for the professional guitarist. Easy to play, easy to handle, well-built great sounding instruments. AM93ME is one of the models in the Ibanez Artcore Expressionist series. A guitar with a slightly smaller body than a traditional 355: a style guitar, with a continuous centerpiece. The guitar is very insensitive to feedback / rounding even at very strong volume. A guitar that works well whether you play clean or really distant and everything in between. The guitar has a 3-piece Expressionist Nyatoh / maple set-in (glued into the body) neck, a medium thick neck with a round, C-shaped, profile. Perfect for both solo and chord playing. The fingerboard is bound in ebony with traditional acrylic block inlays and binding. Body, sides and bottom of Macassar ebony. The mics are Ibanez Super 58 Custom, mics that combine a soft and nuanced tone with an ability to bite when needed. Works just as well for clean and traditional jazz sounds as for overdriven blues and rock sounds.
