AS53 is a slightly simpler model of the more lavish AS models in the Ibanez range. This without compromising on playing feel and quality, the biggest differences are on the visual level, simpler inlays and bindings, mics without covers, etc. An easy-to-play and stylistically broad guitar that works for many different kinds of sounds. The mics are Ibanez ACH-ST in the bridge and neck, a low-output mic with a warm and dynamic sound. They are connected to a 3-position toggle switch with common tone and volume control.
