The mics are Ibanez Classic Elite, a dynamic mic that is well suited for all kinds of sounds up to a slightly overdriven level. The whole construction, the body and the mics, means that the guitar thrives best on clean to semi-distant sounds. But also works further up to more distant levels without getting roundabout spats. You can easily get a standard round jazz sound without it becoming fuzzy and unfocused or a warm complementary sound without losing tone separation. The mics have a ceramic magnet. The mics are connected on a 3-position toggle switch and have separate volume and tone for each pickup.
