JSM10-VYS (Vintage Yellow Sunburst) John Scofield Signature model. The JSM10 is a slightly simpler version of the Prestige model JSM100, which was released in 1991 and has been John's constant companion ever since. The guitar is a classic 335a like classic design, a semi-thick semi-hollowbody body with a set-in neck and a through centerstock. The neck is a JSM set-in neck in mahogany with a bound ebony fingerboard. The fret markings are Pearl and Abalone block inlays of traditional cut, stylish and timeless. The mics are classic Ibanez Super 58, a mic that needs no presentation. The body is made of very beautiful flamed maple and lacquered in a tasteful yellow sunburst and is really eye-catching delicious. Also the back and sides are made of flamed maple.
