It is well suited for small audio tasks at the same time that you get the necessary tools to play music either wirelessly via Bluetooth or via a computer. In addition, the KG-12B has a built-in sound card, so you can use the mixer as a recording mixer together with a computer and an associated computer program. The compact KG-12B has 12 channels, of which the first 8 channels have built-in microphone preamplifiers with XLR/jack combination jacks. Channels 9/10/ and 11/12 are combination channels, which you can either use to collect 2 line signals on each channel, or which you can use as stereo channels for keyboards, electric pianos or other stereo sound sources. If you connect an MP3 player, the sound from the music player is controlled on an independent MP3 channel, so that the MP3 player does not "steal" a channel. Each channel has its own gain control with overload LED, and you get a comprehensive tone control section with treble, midrange and bass controls as well as a pan control. You get 2 AUX available on each channel for connecting external effects and equipment as well as an FX control, which controls the amount of power from the built-in effects processor. In addition, there is a Mute switch, which you can use to completely remove a signal from your mix and PFL, which is useful to have when setting your gain level. The mixer has a built-in MP3 player, so you can insert a USB stick directly into the mixer and control the music directly from the KG-12B. You can even connect to the MP3 player via Bluetooth and play music wirelessly via a smartphone or tablet, or you can connect a computer and play your music from there. It's hard to make a good sound mix without good effects. The KG-12B is therefore also equipped with an effects processor with 16 digital effects, which you can use to add richness to a vocal or acoustic guitar or to other instruments that could use a boost. If you have an effect yourself, which you want to use together with the mixer, you can also do this via the mixer's built-in send/return circuit. In addition to the effects processor, the KG-12B is equipped with a 7-band Equalizer, which you can use to make fine adjustments to the sound, and a Phantom Power circuit, so you can use condenser microphones on a K KG-12B mixer.
