With a 15" woofer and a powerful horn tweeter, it delivers 300 watts RMS (8 ohms) and 500 watts max in a convincing sound quality at an unusually low price. The speaker is solidly built with a plastic cabinet with a protective metal grill in front of the woofer. There is a practical carrying handle on each side, while there are also carrying handles on top of the speaker which, via two wheels on the underside, make it possible to pull the speaker, making transport easier. There are speakon inputs on the back. The Thornton PH15 works perfectly with a Thornton PC-15S-A subwoofer or a Thornton MK-80-A power mixer, but can be powered by any type of amplifier or power mixer.
