It can hold most standard microphones and can handle up to 2 kilos. It is space-saving, practical and has a low noise level. It will make life easier and improve sound for you as a podcaster, streamer, gamer and more. It comes with a standard microphone holder and a reducer thread (5/8" - 3/8") for so-called "hard mounting", but it also includes a shock mount where the microphone is mounted in a ring that hangs from elastic cords. With a shock mount, you avoid disturbances and vibrations from handling the microphone arm or from the table where the microphone arm is mounted affecting the sound quality. It also comes with a pop filter that will further improve the sound quality as it is designed to soften the slightly harsh sounds that occur especially when we pronounce consonants. In addition, it also protects your microphone from "spitting", which can be difficult to avoid when speaking or singing energetically into the microphone. Finally, 5 cable ties are also included that can attach your microphone cable to the GMS-02 arm. It is both practical and looks nice. Construction The Guitto GMS-02 is solidly built from lightweight steel that is painted black. Unlike many other microphone arms, the springs are hidden in the 2 joints, making the GMS-02 more stylish but also more flexible. Most importantly, however, the design also minimizes noise that can be transmitted into the arm from conventional spring mounting. The GMS-02 is mounted with a so-called C-clamp, which means that you can screw the microphone arm onto any plate with a thickness of up to 4.8 cm. Both surfaces where the GMS-02 comes into contact with the surface are coated with rubber, which protects both the surface (for example, your nice desk top) and reduces vibrations that can be transmitted from the surface up into the microphone arm and finally to your microphone and thus the sound.
