The DSA-2/10 are 2 complete sets of strings, for steel-string western guitar, in gauges 10 to 48. The DSA-2/10 are made with a hexagonal core wire, which is wound with a phosphor bronze wire. The strings are then coated with DR's K3 compound, so the strings are made extra resistant to dirt and sweat. The K3 coating, which is applied to all the strings in the set, is ultra-hard and does not dampen vibrations, as softer coatings tend to do.
