The WDC-3400 receiver is a compact and easy-to-use high-quality receiver with an impressive range and excellent signal quality. The PBT-3400 is a compact, lightweight and discreet transmitter that can be used with headsets and clip-on microphones (not included). A backlit LCD display shows the operating status of the microphone, including the current group, channel, and battery and lock status. True Diversity Pasgao WDC-3400 + PBT-3400 is a True Diversity system, which means that the receiver is equipped with 2 antennas, and that the system continuously monitors the signal strength of each antenna, and automatically switches to the strongest receiving antenna. This prevents interruptions that can occur due to destructive interference patterns in the radio waves, or when a performer moves on stage with the transmitter. This is known as True Diversity reception technology as opposed to quasi-diversity reception which uses two antennas but only monitors one antenna at a time and switches when that antenna falls below a certain signal strength, regardless of the strength of the other antenna.
