It has a nice, full and relatively loud sound, is robustly built, and is therefore an excellent choice for the beginner, the slightly trained as well as for schools and institutions. It is made with a solid spruce top, while the sides and back are solid maple. The fingerboard is made of black maple and the headstock is mounted with good sensitive tuning screws. VA-85 viola comes with lined carrying case, resin and string. And before the shipment, the chair is placed in the right place, the strings are mounted, the bow is resined and the viola is checked.
