Between '69 and '70, Jimi Hendrix performed at his peak, at Woodstock, Berkeley and the Fillmore East with a mysterious red Fuzz Face with white knobs. That fuzz box sounded like a completely different beast from the other fuzz pedals Jimi used.
The pedal has been lost, but its unique tone lives on in the recordings of those three iconic concerts. Hendrix fans have been trying to replicate the sound for years, but now we're proud to say that the search has come to a glorious end in Band of Gypsy's Fuzz Face.
