Made of aluminum, synthetic leather, embellished with mosaic art, with mother of pearl inlay. Outstanding quality and sound. From deep bass tones to loud and strong "Doumbeck" sound. The Doumbek comes mainly from Egypt, but is also widely used in music from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe. The main difference between a Darbuka and a Doumbek is the way the skin is attached and how it is tuned.
